Friends New England (FriendsNE or FNE for short) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in February of 2011 as an independent chapter of Friends of Students for 60,000 (FSF60K).
FNE brings together the longstanding work of Mike Cipoletti and FSF60K in Nicaragua with the work of other executive board members to cultivate education and sustainable development projects in Nicaragua, Haiti and Peru. To learn the specifics of our work in each country, click here.
In addition to our work abroad, FNE offers to give presentations throughout New England to raise awareness about poverty issues in the developing world. We are available to present to schools, civic and community groups as well as faith-based organizations about our work.
To schedule a presentation, please contact Maureen (Mo) Weinhardt at mo@FriendsNE.org
